Hi, I’m Christopher Kantz, an author driven by a desire to learn, teach, and explore life’s greatest mysteries. I write to connect—to the world, to others, and to the deeper truths that lie beneath the surface of everyday life. Through my stories, I aim to offer readers a guide for navigating the complexities of existence, helping them grow, learn, and, most importantly, have fun along the way.
A Passion for Knowledge and Storytelling
In 2007, while living in Italy, I had an experience that set me on the path to writing. Standing in the foyer of my home, I looked up for the first time and saw a Latin inscription: “Ut in omnibus glorificetur Deus”—“That in all things, God may be glorified.” It was a moment of clarity, one that inspired me to create something meaningful. That day, I began what I called a libello—a little book of reflections and ideas that would grow into “Dancing In The Dark.”
At first, I simply wanted to capture the knowledge I had gained over the years, but the more I wrote, the more I realized I wanted to express myself, to create something that could help others. Writing became my way of finding meaning in life’s uncertainties while offering guidance and practical solutions to those who need it.
Experiencing Life Through Stories
I’ve always loved exploring the world—whether it’s traveling to new places, wandering through museums, or spending time outdoors. I naturally live in a rural area, so being surrounded by nature is second nature to me. But there’s something exciting about stepping into big cities and foreign lands—places where I can be free and open to learning.
These experiences have shaped my writing. Much of what I write comes from real-life events—either my own or those of people I’ve met. Of course, everything is dramatized for effect, but the core of each story remains rooted in truth. One such moment made its way into “Dancing In The Dark” when a character knocks over a microphone and is forced to give a speech—a little cameo from my own life that happened to me twice!
A Wholesome Voice for Every Reader
I believe in telling stories that resonate with all readers—stories that are fun, meaningful, and accessible to everyone. My writing isn’t edgy or filled with harsh language. Instead, I strive to offer a wholesome experience, with relatable stories that teach good morals and practical ways to navigate life. I want my readers to learn something about themselves, and hopefully, become better people in the process—people others can look up to and emulate.
What’s Next: The Nile’s Redemption
I’m excited to share that my next book, The Nile’s Redemption, is already in the works. What makes this project unique is that Dancing In The Dark actually references The Nile’s Redemption—it’s a book written by a character in the story. Now, I’m writing that book under his pen name, which adds a fun layer of interconnection between my works.
