What are your favorite types of foods?
I’ve had to change a lot of my food habits over the past few years. I used to not think too much about what I was eating.
At some point I just got older and my body changed. I’m not an unhealthy person and I’m not overweight but my test results say otherwise.
I could eat anything, and a lot of it. My metabolism was crazy high and I felt indestructible.
My cholesterol and triglycerides were out of control and my body started to react in awful ways.
I went to the doctor and got medicine but I didn’t want to live that way so I went to a functional medicine doctor and we worked on my life choices.
I started eating a Ketovore style diet. At first I was strictly carnivore diet but my body desperately needed some carbs. I eat primarily eggs and other protein rich meat.
I love broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and chickpeas. I will eat just about any cheese that is available. I love tacos, wraps, salads, and animal protein. I’m not a seafood lover, but I do eat salmon from time to time.
After changing my diet and cutting out sugars, bread, and coffee my entire life has drastically changed. Never underestimate the power of food and it’s effects on the body.
